THE CAST OF MOANA JR

Arianne is a 7th grader who loves singing, listening to music, and playing volleyball in her free time. She has performed in other shows including Matilda Jr, Shrek the Musical, and The Lion King Jr. This is her first show with Arsène and cannot wait to sail on this journey with everyone in Moana Jr.! She wants to thank Arsène and her family and friends who came to support her! 

Liam Taylor (Maui) is overjoyed to be making his Cathedral debut at Arséne! Previous credits include: Grover in Lightning Thief (Avon Players), King Basilius in Head Over Heels (Ridgedale Players), Corny Collins in Hairspray (RWB), and Mufasa in Lion King Jr. (Warren Civic). He would like to thank Brady Nelson, Lukas Kunce, Austin’s Goulding and Matt Muns for allowing and making Arséne performing arts feel like home. Next, you can catch Liam as Jack in Lord Of The Flies here at Arséne Performing Arts! He hopes audiences will have these catchy songs stuck in their heads for weeks to come! 

Evan is an 8th grader at Immanuel Lutheran and is excited to be playing Chief Ancestor #1 in Moana Jr. His love for theater began with performing in his school plays and has continued to grow ever since. Evan enjoys taking acting lessons and has also done voice coaching with Mary Kate at Arsene.

He has previously appeared on the Arsene stage in Winnie the Pooh and is currently working on Lord of the Flies. Moana Jr. is Evan’s first musical, and he has loved getting to experience a whole new side of theater through singing and dancing.

When he isn’t on stage, Evan loves indoor skydiving and hopes to one day pursue his dream of becoming a voice actor for a movie or series. He would like to thank his family, directors, coaches, and castmates for all of their encouragement and support!

Brynleigh is excited to be performing as Gramma Tala in Moana Jr. This is her first time on thestage at Arsene. She has enjoyed singing, dancing and meeting new people. This is

Brynleigh’s 10 th performance overall. She has appeared in such things as High School Musical 2 Jr., The Lion King Jr. and Willy Wonka Kids.

Brynleigh is a 7th grader at Fort Gratiot Middle School. Her other interests include tennis,

volleyball, art, swimming and hanging out with her friends.

Brynleigh would like to thank her family and friends for their continued support doing what she

loves to do.

 Lukas is so excited to be back at Arsène to be part of another amazing show this season! Earlier this year, you may have seen him as Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh, Centipede in James and the Giant Peach, Macen Munroe in the summer original,  Freakshow, or part of the ensemble in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street!  Outside of theatre, he enjoys hanging out with friends, taking care of his Golden Retrievers, Bindi and Biscuit, and spending time outside. Lukas would like to thank all of his supporters, including his family and friends. He hopes you enjoy the show! 

 Harper is thrilled to be back on the Cathedral stage, which is quickly becoming her second home, and to be surrounded by the Arsène family she loves. She is excited to play Moana’s loyal friend Pua in Moana Jr. Her recent Arsène credits include the small but mighty Thimble in the original production Freakshow and James in James and the Giant Peach. Offstage, Harper is excited to start fourth grade after a summer spent swimming, playing Dungeons & Dragons and chess, cheering on the Detroit Tigers and hanging out with her sister and two younger brothers. 

Colton is 11 years old and excited to hit the stage for his third production and his first with Arsene! He is entering sixth grade at Landmark Academy in Kimball. Colton has previously performed in The Lion King and 101 Dalmatians, and apparently, once you catch the theater bug, there’s no turning back! Bright, creative, and definitely born to be on stage, Colton has had an amazing time working on Moana and has learned so much from the wonderful Ms. Shannon. He’s loved every minute of the experience and can’t wait to see what adventure—and what stage—comes next!  

 Owen McTaggart (Tamatoa) is thrilled to return to the Arsène Performing Arts’ stage for Moana Jr!Some of his previous roles include Billy Bobby Cop in James and the Giant Peach, Heinrich/Hans in The Frog Prince, and Charlie the Cicada in The Bugs. When he is not doing theatre, Owen enjoys drawing, reading, and playing music with his band. He would like to thank the cast, crew, and his family for all of their support! 

 "Moana Jr" will be Natalie LeCouteur's (Left Claw) third show at Arsene Performing Arts, and she is so excited to be a part of this cast! She's previously played Dagmar in "The Frog Prince" and was a company dancer in "Freakshow". Outside of theatre, she's in her school's marching band as a Colorguard performer and competes in tap and enjoys reading. Thank you to Mama, Tata, Matthew, Nana, and everyone who always shows up for her!
